LOL . . . you know, I was "sensitized" to that issue when that Getty-Sympathetic poster (whom I won't name) a while back kept hinting that (s)he was a lawyer while throwing around lots of legalese and "opinions", and yet wouldn't answer when asked outright if (s)he was a lawyer.  I'll take your advice and tone the disclaiming down a bit. :)

I recall this person well, Lettered.  His arguments were an example of what's wrong with the industry, and he actually made Getty look bad.
He/she actually said that he/she was a lawyer.  Debating with this guy?  It was one of my "finest hours" on the Internet.
I cut my teeth debating (the losing parties might call it trolling) on USENET.  Remember USENET?
This person even threatened me (albeit informally) to sue me for slander.
But I like how Marc Randazza (yes, the guy who practically brought down Righthaven single-handedly) speaks of butthurt:
"Butthurt is not defamation. Butthurt is butthurt, and you don't get paid for that in the United States of America. Not on my watch."
